How To Use Stainless Steel Reactor?

Technical Knowledge 2024-06-27 10:21:46
Stainless steel reactors have higher corrosion resistance, high temperature resistance, and high pressure resistance. The stainless steel surface is stronger, not easily damaged, easy to clean and maintain, and has a longer service life.

(I) Before using the stainless steel reactor

1. Check whether the reactor, agitator, rotating parts, auxiliary equipment, indicating instruments, safety valves, pipelines and valves meet safety requirements.

2. Check whether water, electricity and gas meet safety requirements.

(II) In use of stainless steel reactor

1. Before adding materials, the agitator of the reactor should be turned on first. When there is no noise and it is normal, add the materials to the reactor. The amount of materials added shall not exceed the process requirements.

2. Before opening the steam valve, open the return valve first and then the intake valve. The steam valve should be opened slowly to preheat the jacket and gradually increase the pressure. The pressure in the jacket shall not exceed the specified value.

3. The steam valve and the cooling valve cannot be started at the same time. Hammering and collision are not allowed when the steam pipeline passes gas.

4. When opening the cooling water valve, open the return valve first and then the intake valve. The cooling water pressure shall not be lower than 0.1 MPa and shall not be higher than 0.2 MPa.

5. For water ring vacuum pumps, start the pump first and then supply water. When stopping the pump, stop the pump first and then stop the water, and remove the water accumulated in the pump.

6. Check the operation of the reactor at any time. If abnormality is found, it should be stopped for maintenance.

7. When cleaning the titanium epoxy (enamel) reactor, do not use alkaline water to brush the reactor, and be careful not to damage the enamel.

(III) After using the stainless steel reactor

1. Stop stirring, cut off the power supply, and close all valves.

2. When shoveling the pot, the mixer power supply must be cut off, a warning sign must be hung, and someone must be on guard.

3. The stainless steel reactor must be regularly technically inspected according to the requirements for pressure vessels. If the inspection fails, it shall not be used.
